The role entails performance management, coaching, hiring involvement, and determining corrective actions, with bonus eligibility based on location performance. Shift options include Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat, with peak-season flexibility.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated leadership with strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with staff and customers.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently with solid time management and organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and active listening.
• Ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and drive change.
• Experience in driving process improvement and leading change.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Aufgaben

• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and documentation control.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching and counseling to associates.
• Evaluate work methods to increase dispatch productivity and assist in training new hires.
• Provide relief coverage for operational duties when staff are absent.
• Maintain knowledge of site operating systems to ensure compliance and resolve exceptions.
• Complete records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
