Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC seeks an operations leader to guide hourly associates in daily tasks, including driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and cross-docking. You will oversee scheduling, performance coaching, and adherence to procedures to meet cost objectives.

The role requires strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills, with effort toward improving service levels and safety. Monday–Friday schedule with peak-season flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards, interview hourly associates and monitor attendance and productivity.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation.
• Understand financial impact, manage hours to minimize overtime and meet productivity targets.
• Ensure day-to-day safety and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Align location goals with customer objectives and drive continuous improvement.
