Job summary

US Foods in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily outbound shipments to customers and other dist centers. You will supervise drivers and clerical staff, ensure training, and enforce safety and DOT compliance while maintaining cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities include route scheduling, safety meetings, accident investigations, and maintaining driver qualification files, with an emphasis on teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; CDL preferred.
• Minimum 4 years transportation/delivery experience and 1 year managing hourly workforce.
• Ability to communicate openly with all associates; knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises drivers and clerical staff within transportation.
• Ensures training in job duties, safety, and legal responsibilities.
• Schedules routes and conducts safety meetings; investigates accidents.
• Maintain driver qualification files and enforce SOPs.
• Promote upward communication and teamwork to meet goals.
