Job summary

US Foods seeks a Manager, Transportation to lead a safety‑driven, cost‑effective transportation operation. You will manage drivers and Transportation associates, coaching them to meet service and safety targets while ensuring daily outbound shipments are accurate and timely.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. A high school diploma or GED is required, college degree is a plus, and familiarity with DOT rules will support the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Experience as a driver is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to create a safety-first culture in Transportation.
• Oversee and develop drivers via coaching and training.
• Monitor performance and drive cost-effective, legal solutions for deliveries.
• Investigate accidents and maintain safety records.
• Direct and supervise Transportation personnel and ensure DOT compliance.
