Job summary

Amazon Inc. TOC (Transportation Operation Center) is seeking a Trans Ops Representative to facilitate information flow between Carriers, Hubs, Warehouses, and internal teams.

You will resolve issues impacting customer experience and business continuity, while analyzing data to spot trends and drive timely decisions. You will pull data from multiple databases, develop performance metrics, and collaborate with Amazon tech teams to improve systems used by TOC.

Qualifications

• Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
• Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
• 10+ 2 degree

Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers)
• Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed is a plus
• Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results
• Ability to scope out business and functional requirements for the Amazon technology teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools are used by TOC
• Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data
