Qualifications

• Computer systems knowledge and basic transportation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Be familiar with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Geography knowledge is a must.
• Transportation skills required.
• Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
• 5 years of Logistics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate transportation operations.
• Direct dispatch, routing, and tracking activities.
• Coordinate procurement processes, vendor contracts, and requisitions approval.
• Develop and implement policies, processes and objectives with senior management.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and government regulations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the controller.
• Support ongoing business needs with additional projects.
