Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, manage staff, and ensure accurate inventory control and safe handling of products. The role emphasizes leadership, cycle counting, and coordination with drivers to meet delivery goals.

The candidate should have strong experience in warehouse management, safety compliance, and the ability to train and develop personnel. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus on business or related field.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse operations, safety compliance and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and staff in a safe, timely manner.
• Review hours worked and PTO; manage staffing using Kronos where applicable.
• Maintain morale and develop staff through training and coaching.
• Conduct cycle counts, minimize dead stock, and audit inventory accuracy.
• Document transactions and reports (cycle counts, inventory, driver records, safety incidents).
• Ensure equipment safety and conduct pre/post shift inspections; maintain and repair equipment as needed.
• Establish warehouse procedures to optimize efficiency and safety across departments.
• Coordinate shipments with other teams to ensure timely product movement.
• Stay current with policies and employee handbook provisions; consult with Management/HR as needed.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement processes.
• Keep up-to-date on federal/state safety regulations.
