Job summary

Daikin Comfort seeks a Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse and distribution operations, driving efficiency, cost reduction, and inventory control for finished goods and service parts.

You will train and mentor staff in our warehouse management system, partnering with other departments to enhance the customer experience and maintain high service levels. 7+ years in logistics with 3+ years in management are typical requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in logistics/supply chain roles, including fulfillment, shipping/receiving and warehousing.
• 3+ years in a managerial/leadership role.
• 3+ years experience with performance metrics, process improvement, change management and Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume multi-shift operation within a large distribution center (>75 employees).
• Oversee a standalone DC facility up to 300K sq. ft.
• Responsible for DC facility maintenance and safety programs.
• Develop and maintain efficient procedures to optimize warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with the Director to set short and long-term goals with KPIs and data-driven decisions.
• Mentor employees and ensure policy compliance across the warehouse.
