Job summary

Requires high school diploma and 2+ years in driver dispatch/training, proficiency with routing software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience managing and dispatching drivers and using routing software.
• Intermediate knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily routes and activities based on workload to maximize fleet utility.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Train and develop drivers and ensure safe operation of the MedTrans fleet.
• Maintain equipment per vehicle maintenance policy.
• Conduct regular driver meetings per DOT/company policy.
• Mentor staff through onboarding, communication, training and performance processes.
