Job summary

Medline Industries, LP seeks an experienced fleet operations supervisor to oversee the MedTrans fleet, ensuring safe daily operation, maintenance, and DOT compliance. You will schedule and dispatch drivers, optimize routes and mentor staff in best practices.

You will lead driver meetings, ensure equipment upkeep, and apply routing software to balance workloads. This role offers competitive pay and benefits, with salary range $73,000–$110,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and dispatching drivers and using routing software.
• At least 2 years coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• Intermediate knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations.
• Basic skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily routes and activities based on branch and fleet workloads and available Customer order information.
• Ensure all drivers are properly trained according to MedTrans requirements.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained in accordance with the MedTrans vehicle maintenance policy.
• Recruit, hire, train and discipline all drivers.
• Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with drivers as required by DOT and/or company policy.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees, assign, monitor and review progress and provide guidance on complex issues.
