Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the MedTrans fleet, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and drivers. The role ensures compliance with DOT and company regulations, while leading drivers and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and dispatching drivers using routing software.
• At least 2 years coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily routes and activities based on branch and fleet workloads and customer order information.
• Ensure all drivers are properly trained according to MedTrans requirements.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained per MedTrans vehicle maintenance policy.
• Recruit, hire, train and discipline all drivers.
• Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with drivers as required by DOT or company policy.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees; assign, monitor and review progress and provide technical guidance on complex issues.
