Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee transportation operations at a Gladstone location. Lead Donation Pickup Drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatchers; ensure safe routes and high-quality donor/retail service. Handle hiring, training, and evaluations to build a strong, compliant team.

Responsibilities include fleet maintenance, route planning, safety compliance, and coordinating pickups and deliveries for stores and donors in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with routing and fleet management.
• Knowledge of safety regulations for large vehicles.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong communication and planning skills.
• Valid driver's license required or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation operations for safety and efficiency.
• Manage donation pickup drivers, dispatchers, warehouse staff, and attendants.
• Plan and optimize routes; monitor on-road performance and costs.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections; enforce protocols.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and trailer/shipping schedules.
• Support stores with pickup/delivery planning and scheduling.
