Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with routing/tracking systems and fleet maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to plan and optimize driver routes and schedules.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation operations and safety compliance.
• Manage a team of Donation Pickup Drivers, dispatchers, warehouse staff, and attendants, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Plan routes, address on-road challenges, and evaluate productivity for cost management.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and maintain safety protocol adherence.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and schedule adherence.
• Support stores with pickup and delivery schedules as needed.
• Represent the organization to donors and the public.
• Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on policies.
