Job summary

Amazon is seeking Transportation Area Managers to support operations across the country from Dallas, Texas. You will lead a team of associates, drive quality and customer experience metrics, and implement Lean tools to improve productivity while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including root cause analysis.
• Streamline logistics in the operation through standard work and team leadership.
• Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
• Mentor, motivate, and manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
