Job summary

Reyes Holdings in Michigan is seeking an Operations Supervisor to help manage daily distribution activities, ensuring on-time dispatch, safety, and cost control.

You will collaborate with drivers and supervisors, develop the operating plan, and support staffing levels and training. The role emphasizes safety, process discipline, and service to customers.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree with experience also acceptable; background check and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage.
• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully.
• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers’ delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers.
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety.
• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement.
