Job summary

Sysco is seeking a transportation supervisor to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers. You will monitor driver performance, equipment condition, and business volume while managing expenses in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include planning routes, coordinating payroll, reviewing driver logs for DOT compliance, verifying invoices, and maintaining detailed records of pay and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4-year degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of transportation supervisor experience; 4 years transportation experience.
• CDL license required and DOT compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor driver performance and equipment condition regularly.
• Review driver logs to ensure accuracy and policy adherence.
• Plan, schedule transportation assignments and process weekly payroll.
• Verify vendor invoices and complete accounts payable vouchers.
• Monitor monthly expenses and adjust plans to control costs.
