Job summary

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) is now accepting applications for a Transportation Supervisor's Assistant in district 3. This on-site role supports the garage and office operations across Branford, Darien, East Haven, Guilford, Milford, New Canaan, New Haven, North Haven, Orange, Stratford, Trumbull, Wallingford, Westport.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of general clerical work experience.
• Substitution: 1 year of general maintenance support with clerical duties may substitute for general experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in garage operations with general clerical and maintenance support tasks.
• Perform office and recordkeeping duties with accuracy to support public safety.
• Use Word, Excel, PeopleSoft Core-CT, STARS, and Analytics Reporting Systems in daily duties.
• Support a busy office with urgent priorities and multiple deadlines.
• Interact with diverse populations verbally and in writing to provide information.
