Job summary

Connecticut DOT is seeking a Transportation Supervisor’s Assistant for a 40-hour week in District 1. Qualifications

• One year of general clerical work experience.
• Willing to commit to emergency duties including winter overtime.
• Residency within 30 miles of the posted job locations.

Responsibilities

• Type a variety of materials, preparing letters, memos and reports with speed and accuracy.
• Enter and retrieve data on computers; maintain logs and records.
• Answer phones, receive visitors, and handle routine information requests.
• Process purchase requisitions, orders or invoices; maintain inventory and supplies.
• Assist in coordinating and dispatching personnel for emergencies; perform basic facilities tasks.
