Grocery Outlet seeks a Transportation Manager for the PNW region to drive transportation operations, lead a team of logistics professionals, and optimize route planning. You will maintain databases, develop reports, and oversee system updates and security under the Regional Director, RFC Operations.

You will manage a team of supervisors, drivers, and support staff, focusing on cost-efficient routing, training, and performance measurement while ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance and timely store

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation, operations, and logistics leadership experience.
• Proven success leading a high-performing team.
• Experience with routing, yard management, distribution software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a localized routing strategy to lower costs and improve service.
• Direct route planning, delivery scheduling, and performance measurement.
• Improve driver recruitment and training.
• Lead a team of supervisors, drivers, and support staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (DOT, OSHA) and safe practices.
• Oversee budgeted labor, travel, fuel and supplies.
• Coordinate repairs with proper departments.
• Monitor KPIs and store customer satisfaction.
• Analyze transportation costs and optimize system.
• Manage projects related to transportation systems.
