Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure in is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead the safe, efficient movement of finished goods to customers and sites. You will supervise drivers and carriers, optimize fleet utilization, and manage regulatory compliance and costs.

Responsibilities include planning schedules, coordinating with production, and communicating changes to customers and internal teams. Strong leadership and cost-analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in transportation, dispatch, fleet, or logistics.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/building products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly delivery schedules.
• Match trucks, trailers, drivers, and outside carriers with delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with Production and Yard Operations to confirm products are ready before dispatch.
• Monitor deliveries and address delays, changes, and issues.
