US Foods in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Manager, Transportation to lead the Transportation department with a safety-first approach, delivering safe, accurate, and timely outbound shipments. You will coach drivers, manage performance, and drive cost-effective operations while ensuring DOT compliance and high employee engagement.

The role requires 3+ years in transportation or warehouse distribution, with leadership experience and strong communication.

Formación

Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
Experience as a driver is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Lead with a safety mindset to create a safety-first culture in Transportation.
Oversee and develop drivers and transportation associates through coaching and policy training.
Discuss performance with senior managers and create improvement plans.
Direct and supervise drivers and clerical staff; drive engagement and retention.
Recruit and review performance; coach on service and safety targets; apply disciplinary action.
Monitor production goals and maintain accuracy in outbound shipments; ensure DOT compliance.
Identify waste and improve processes for safer, more efficient work.
Conduct routine safety and driver meetings; oversee driver qualification files.
Investigate accidents and implement preventive actions; schedule shifts efficiently.
