The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of fleet management experience, plus 6–12 months of supervisory exposure. Strong organization and computer terminal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• 2–3 years fleet management or transportation experience in truckload industry preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and management abilities; proficiency with computer terminals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet driver needs (home time, payroll, equipment issues).
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Adhere to customer service expectations and Werner goals to improve value.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and vendors.
• Work with management to maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure timely attendance per shift.
