Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Fleet Operations Supervisor to build and maintain driver relationships and optimize loads. The role interacts with multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery and driver satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and experience with fleet management systems. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships through understanding and meeting driver needs.
• Partner with the Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Understand and adhere to customer dynamics service expectations and initiatives.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance and external vendors.
• Work with the Dedicated Logistics Manager to fill and maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift.
