Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in transportation engineering support, roadway maintenance, construction inspection, or related work experience.
• Related technical training or education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Must have a valid Texas Commercial Driver's License for equipment operation at time of application.
• Extensive knowledge of traffic management, maintenance concepts, and safety standards.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsabilités

• Operates and maintains complex heavy equipment and light equipment as required.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and routine servicing on equipment.
• Inspects and maintains roadways and bridges, posts warning signs, and assists the public during emergencies.
• Trains other employees and performs other job duties as assigned.
