Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in transportation engineering support, roadway maintenance, construction inspection, or related work experience.
• Substitutions for experience may be made with related training or education.

Responsibilities

• Inspects complex maintenance and construction-related work for safety, compliance, and contract specs.
• Oversees maintenance contracts and reviews traffic control plans with law enforcement.
• Operates heavy equipment including graders, excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and paving machines.
• Maintains project records, plans, and PS&E documents; assists letting processing.
• Trains other employees and coordinates multi-project workloads.
