Texas Department of Transportation in Texas is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to support advanced transportation operations and maintenance. The role covers heavy and light equipment, roadway maintenance, and emergency response to protect the traveling public.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in transportation support or roadway maintenance.
• Valid Texas driver9s license; must be able to drive state vehicle.
• Must have Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for equipment operation at time of application.

Responsabilités

• Operates complex heavy equipment including motor grader, excavator, bulldozer, crane.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and routine servicing on equipment.
• Sands or cleans bridges/roads; posts warning signs and assists the public during emergencies.
• Trains other employees.
• Completes time-keeping, PMI and equipment reports.
