Ryder System, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Logistics Supervisor (Transportation) to oversee daily logistics operations within our Supply Chain Solutions division.

The role includes coordinating schedules, coaching staff, and ensuring adherence to safety and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a college degree or technical certification in business/logistics, plus 3+ years in a supervisory warehouse or transportation role.

Qualifications

• College degree/Technical Certification in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field.
• Three (3) years or more supervisory experience in a warehouse or Transportation.
• Three (3) years or more experience in monitoring, evaluating and rewarding employee performance.
• Three (3) years or more experience in performance management with progressive discipline.
• Three (3) years or more experience preparing and conducting meetings (H&S and Employee committees).
• Three (3) years or more experience investigating and reporting workplace accidents and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities for optimal shift logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI and performance.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Regularly meet with team members to monitor progress and coach.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and improve internal processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address issues per policy.
