Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation and related logistics for goods and services to internal and external customers and suppliers. You will collaborate with the Logistics Project Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize daily transportation, monitor costs, and ensure on-time, in-full delivery while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with focus in Logistics and Transportation or related field.
• 2+ years in Transportation, Logistics, Demand/Supply Planning or related functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Logistics Project Manager (LPM) and cross-functional supply chain representatives to optimize daily transportation and shipment planning.
• Maintain project freight estimates, logistics plans and cost tracking.
• Ensure orders are optimized via the TMS and other client tools for timely and in-full delivery.
• Coordinate with internal customer groups and external carriers to meet service level objectives and timely pickups/deliveries.
• Monitor data flows between ERP, TMS and project systems to ensure successful transportation execution.
• Identify gaps in transportation capacity and work with Capacity Planning to address them.
• Support cost plus customer reimbursement processes as required.
• Work five days per week in office at designated location.
