Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Logistics Project Manager to oversee a regional project portfolio, ensuring fulfillment requirements while driving transportation cost reduction. You will gather and communicate data for shipments, projects, and services, and provide logistics support, consultation, and optimal mode selection with best possible rates.

You will plan inbound/outbound logistics, coordinate with buyers and carriers, monitor import/exceptions, and act as the customer liaison for outbound

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, project management, or supply chain function.

Responsibilities

• Plan and Execute inbound and/or outbound global logistics function.
• Monitor PO’s and coordinate with Buyers, vendors, freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Monitor and rectify import shipment exceptions and assist in regional transport programs.
• For outbound project delivery, act as the customer point of contact for project Logistics supporting the GE Project Manager.
• Develop logistics strategy to optimize cycle cost within baseline EAC and maintain project plans and freight estimates.
