Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Lead Logistics Project Manager to oversee a regional logistics portfolio, driving cost reductions while meeting fulfillment requirements.

You will coordinate shipments, engage with buyers, vendors, and carriers, and provide strategic support for optimizing transportation modes and rates. The role requires 3+ years in logistics or supply chain, international experience and strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, project management, or supply chain.
• International logistics experience: transportation, customs, supply chain standards.
• English proficiency; additional language capabilities welcome.

Responsibilities

• Plan and Execute inbound and/or outbound global logistics function.
• Monitor PO’s; coordinate with Buyers, vendors, freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• For outbound project delivery, act as the customer point of contact for project Logistics supporting the GE Project Manager.
• Conduct RFQ’s for internal stakeholders to provide cost/cycle scenarios.
• For Outbound projects, develop logistics strategy to optimize cycle cost within baseline EAC.
• Manage & Reporting of full project lifecycle EAC.
• Support logistics cost ITO strategies with forecasting and market data.
• Maintain project logistics risks and opportunities enable proactive upstream and downstream influence.
• Identify and implement best cost solutions regarding transport mode, route, carrier selection, container utilization and consolidations.
