Job summary

US Foods, Inc. in Jacksonville is seeking a Coordinator, Transportation to support transportation and logistics with clerical tasks and backhaul assistance. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with starting pay of $22 per hour.

Role involves coordinating with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and accurate reporting. Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with transportation software (Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos, among others) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls to resolve driver, sales representative and customer issues as needed.
• Communicate with drivers any updates to their routes.
• Utilize software such as MS Excel, Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos to create and update reports and files for transportation functioning.
• Assist in damages and shorts processes by notifying vendors and drivers to find a resolution.
• Support backhaul and logistics by scheduling pick up appointments and communicating necessary information.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
