You will work with trucks, barges, and vessels, processing freight bills and documentation, and communicating with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities

• Maintain truck, barge and vessel freight bill processing.
• Create truck, railcar, barge and vessel freight documentation.
• Schedule claims, tracing and billing.
• Track fuel surcharge.
• Set up new carrier forms.
• Report to fleet.
• File both electronic and physical paperwork.
• Aid with maintaining logistics planning tasks.
• Track shipments across multiple channels.
• Analyze markets and identify changes within the freight industry to optimize lane capacity and margins.
• Negotiate pricing with carriers.
• Develop carriers to broker more efficient loads.
• Collaborate with billing to ensure proper customer invoicing.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding capacity and back-haul coverage.
• Monitor multiple systems to ensure capacity and on-time performance.
