Job summary

Travelers in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Northland Claim Litigation Specialist to manage and investigate moderate complexity injury and property damage claims, determine coverage, evaluate liability, and issue payments within authority, while coordinating with counsel and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, a valid adjuster license where required, and at least two years of bodily injury or property damage experience, with strong communication and negotiation skills to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree.
Two years of bodily injury liability or property damage liability experience.
Two years of litigation claim experience.
Active adjuster license where required by state law.
Experience with claims management systems and MS Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for complex information.
Ability to manage a high-volume workload with strong organization.

Responsibilities

Independently manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims and litigation.
Investigate information to determine coverage and liability.
Provide timely communication to customers, counsel, and stakeholders.
Negotiate settlements within authority and issue payments timely.
Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
Assist in coordinating with Counsel to support litigation management strategies.
