Job summary

US Foods seeks a Transportation Supervisor to lead safety-focused initiatives in the Transportation department. You will coach drivers and associates, ensure policy training, and collaborate with senior managers to close performance gaps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Experience overseeing a workforce.
• Experience as a driver a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free operations in Transportation.
• Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates through coaching and training on policy and safety responsibilities.
• Discuss performance with Sr. Transportation Managers and develop improvement plans.
• Schedule shifts and ensure DOT compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Drive associate engagement and retention and uphold US Foods values.
