Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Transportation Engineering Manager in Albuquerque, NM. You will build and lead a team of transportation design engineers across roadway, drainage, structures, traffic, and utility disciplines, coordinating with project managers and staff to staff and deliver projects on time and budget.

You will mentor junior staff, forecast workloads, and collaborate with leadership to grow the practice in New Mexico while maintaining high technical quality and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional civil/transportation engineering experience.
• Proven project management, client facing, and leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in transportation engineering with MSD leadership potential.
• Familiarity with Bentley OpenRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage a transportation design team across roadway, drainage, structures, traffic, and utility disciplines.
• Coordinate with project managers and staff to staff and deliver diverse projects on time and budget.
• Manage workload forecasting for the transportation design team.
• Mentor junior staff and identify development opportunities.
