Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years experience in Transportation.
• 8+ years experience with plan preparation procedures and standards.
• Professional Civil Engineering certification (P.E.) required.
• Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of freeways, highways, interchanges, and roads.
• Prepare studies, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and staff to complete projects.
• Lead a project team on design, analysis, and constructability of water systems.
• Coordinate meetings with project stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure projects meet specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Interface with state and local agencies and prepare proposals.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish.
