Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking an Assistant Division Manager / Assistant Division Engineer for the 345 Department of Transportation in Oklahoma City. The role reports to the Division Engineer of Project Management and is Non-Exempt, located at 200 NE 21st Street, OKC.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license or registration.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a professional engineering setting.
• Strong knowledge of engineering practices and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering activities of part of an agency’s responsibility.
• Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure on-time performance.
• Develop and monitor work programs within policy and budget constraints.
• Represent the department in contacts with the public and officials.
