Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a mid-level Transportation Engineer to join our Michigan engineering team. You will design highways, roads, and related structures, and conduct traffic studies using AutoCAD and MicroStation.

The role offers collaboration with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to deliver compliant, efficient solutions. You will prepare technical reports, manage multiple projects, and ensure timely completion within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation engineering.
• PE license preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design highways, roads, and related transportation structures.
• Conduct traffic studies and simulations to improve traffic flow and safety.
• Prepare technical cost, progress, and sustainability reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to meet objectives.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and timelines.
• Travel as needed for project work.
