Job summary

Leoforce in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our Transportation Planning and Design team. You will contribute to all phases of project development, applying advanced drafting and engineering techniques to deliver tailored solutions for our clients.

The role focuses on highway/roadway design, drainage, plan reviews, and coordination with regulatory agencies. You will mentor staff and work on diverse projects across local, state, and federal levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus in Transportation Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Ohio.
• 8–10 years of civil engineering experience required; prior experience with ODOT projects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of project development, from concept through final plan preparation.
• Design highway and roadway layouts, drainage, and interchanges.
• Review plans and coordinate with regulatory agencies and utilities.
• Mentor junior staff and gain hands-on experience across a range of projects.
