The role involves coordinating with senior project managers, preparing plans using MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D, and supporting proposals and business development. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college.
• 5 to 10+ years Transportation Engineering experience including roadway/highway design.
• Nebraska PE license or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D for surface modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and design tasks for transportation projects.
• Coordinate design elements including roadway, traffic, environmental, and drainage design.
• Assist with budgets, estimating, scoping, and marketing strategies.
• Support business development through proposals and client outreach.
• Create project schedules and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Instruct and assist designers/technicians and review construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients to meet budget, schedule, and quality goals.
