Our team of diverse professional engineers, planners, researchers, and software developers combine practical experience and cutting-edge technology to solve operational and design issues facing our communities' transportation systems.

PSI is seeking to hire a Transportation Engineer with knowledge and experience in traffic engineering and design. The ideal candidate will have between 0 - 8 years of experience performing traffic engineering related tasks, and a STEM degree. This position allows for exposure to multiple disciplines within transportation engineering, including both design and analysis work and seeing projects' development from the concept to final design.

Objectives of this Role :

• Production of transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages. Disciplines may include temporary traffic control, traffic signals, utilities, signing, pavement marking, roadways, lighting networks.
• Performance of traffic engineering studies, analysis, and modeling
• Learn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables.

Essential Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or other related STEM fields
• 0-8 years of Civil Engineering experience
• Ability and desire to operate professionally in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• E.I.T. or PE Certification
• Experience using MicroStation, AutoCAD, Synchro, and / or Vissim
• M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
