Job summary

Werner Enterprises Inc. in the United States seeks a fleet operations professional to build and maintain driver relationships, address home time, payroll, equipment issues, and other needs using our systems and direct communication.

You will partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize loads based on origin, freight type, miles, and stops. The role requires at least a Bachelor's degree and/or 2–3 years of fleet management experience, plus 6–12 months supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Two to three years of fleet management or transportation experience preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, proven management ability, and proficiency with computer terminals and satellite communications systems required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships and meet driver needs.
• Collaborate with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize loads.
• Interface with billing, safety, payroll, and other departments.
• Attend to attendance and shift requirements.
