Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to build and maintain driver relationships, addressing home time, payroll, equipment issues and driver workloads. You will partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize loads and align with customer expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Transportation or 2–3 years in fleet management, plus supervisory experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of fleet management or transportation experience in truckload industry preferred.
• 6–12 months of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships and address driver needs.
• Coordinate with Dedicated and Logistics Managers to optimize loads.
• Interface with billing, safety, payroll, maintenance and other departments.
• Work with Operations Manager to maintain a full board of drivers.
• Ensure timely attendance and compliance with shift schedules.
