Job summary

Consor is seeking a Drainage Engineering Designer for Dallas, TX, focusing on drainage and stormwater within transportation projects. You will lead design components, perform hydraulic analyses, and prepare plans, reports, and calculations for roadway and bridge projects.

You will mentor junior designers, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure designs meet regulatory standards while delivering cost-effective, constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in civil engineering required.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation drainage design experience.
• EIT certification required.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage design plans, specs, quantities, and cost estimates for transportation projects including stormwater systems.
• Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and develop design calculations.
• Coordinate drainage design with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers and EITs.
• Support project delivery activities including scope, schedule, resources, and reports.
• Present technical recommendations in client meetings and design reviews.
