Consor is seeking a Drainage Engineering Designer in Texas to lead drainage design for transportation projects, including stormwater systems, culverts, and detention facilities. You will perform advanced hydraulic analyses, develop design calculations, and ensure compliance with standards.

You will collaborate with roadway, bridge, utility, traffic, environmental, and survey teams, provide mentorship to junior designers, and support project delivery from conception through final design.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation drainage design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with MicroStation & OpenRoads Designer.

Aufgaben

• Lead the preparation of drainage design plans, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and supporting documentation for transportation infrastructure projects, including storm sewer systems, culverts, channels, detention facilities, and other stormwater management improvements.
• Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and develop design calculations to evaluate drainage capacity, stormwater runoff, flood impacts, and system performance while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and client standards.
• Coordinate drainage design efforts with roadway, bridge, utility, traffic, environmental, and survey teams to develop integrated, efficient, and constructible project solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers and EITs by reviewing work products, sharing best practices, and supporting their professional development and technical growth.
• Support project managers and engineers in project delivery activities, including scope development, schedule management, resource planning, quality control reviews, and preparation of technical reports and client deliverables.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, field investigations, and construction-phase support activities by presenting technical recommendations, resolving design challenges, responding to RFIs, and ensuring design intent is successfully implemented.
