Job summary

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation is seeking a Dispatcher to oversee daily coordination of Members/Riders schedules to and from the Day Center or appointments for Elite Transportation. The role includes arranging Will Call trips in line with Logisticare requirements, validating trips, and finalizing weekly time cards for payroll.

You will participate in Operations calls, assist with rider complaints, and log vehicle maintenance issues, with an on-call rotation including weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience with transportation of people including those with compromised mobility requiring wheelchair transportation (preferred)
• Has a clean driving record (required)
• Can meet health requirements of a DOT Physical (required)
• High School or GED equivalent (required)
• Experience in working around older adults and those with specialized care needs (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coordination of Members/Riders schedules to Day Center or appointments for Elite Transportation
• Arrange daily logistics for Will Call trips per Logisticare requirements
• Validate trips and approve Transportation Specialists' time worked daily
• Finalize weekly time cards and communicate paid hours to payroll each Monday
• Participate in weekly Transportation Operations calls and provide feedback on operations
• Coordinate with support for rider complaints and maintain documentation
• Log maintenance concerns for depot vehicles and coordinate with mobile mechanic
• Participate in on-call rotation including early mornings, late evenings, and alternating Saturdays
