Job summary

Elite Transportation in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily Members/Riders schedules to Day Center or appointments. You will arrange Logisticare Will Call trips to meet requirements and validate trips, approving Transportation Specialists’ time daily.

The role also involves finalizing weekly time cards, communicating PTO/training hours, and contributing to weekly Operations calls. An on-call rotation includes early mornings, late evenings, and alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience with transportation of people including those with compromised mobility requiring wheelchair transportation (preferred).
• Has a clean driving record (required).
• Can meet health requirements of a DOT Physical (required).
• High School or GED equivalent (required).
• Experience in working around older adults and those with specialized care needs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coordination of Members/Riders schedules to Day Center or appointments.
• Arrange Logisticare Will Call trips in line with requirements.
• Validate Logisticare trips and approve Transportation Specialists’ hours daily.
• Finalize time cards weekly and communicate PTO/training hours for payroll.
• Participate in weekly Operations calls and coordinate with maintenance/vehicle issues.
• Coordinate with mobile mechanic and participate in on-call rotations (early morning/late evening/Saturdays).
