Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Dispatcher to manage same-day transportation for patients and participants. You will handle incoming calls, schedule routes, and coordinate with PACE centers to ensure timely, compliant service.

Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year in dispatch, with bilingual abilities in English and Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred. This role offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for transportation services; receiving incoming/outgoing pick-up calls and scheduling transportation services for the same day.
• Coordinate daily transportation with PACE centers to support AltaMed patients and participants.
• Assist with other transportation vendors (e.g., Agape) by facilitating information and back-up service when possible.
• Schedule, routing, record keeping, and auditing to ensure compliance with AltaMed’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure all drivers return to base at day end and meet program deadlines; provide support as needed.

Duties include scheduling, routing, record keeping, and auditing to ensure compliance with AltaMed’s policies and procedures. The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring all drivers are commuting back to base at the end of the day once the assignments are completed.
