Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Transportation Coordinator in Compton to plan and coordinate daily transportation for PACE participants. You will work closely with the transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver to schedule and manage services, ensuring timely, safe transport.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year coordinating a program, and healthcare experience. EHRs and bilingual skills are preferred; a valid BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience coordinating a program.
• Experience in healthcare or geriatrics required.
• EHR experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred depending on location.
• Valid BLS CPR certification required per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily transportation for AltaMed PACE participants.
• Coordinate with transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver for scheduling.
• Ensure timely and safe transportation services are provided to participants.

Job Overview

The transportation coordinator plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services of AltaMed PACE participants. The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver in scheduling and coordinating the transportation needs of PACE participants.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.


• Minimum 1-year experience in coordinating a program.


• Experience working in the health care field and/or geriatrics setting required.


• Electronic Health Records preferred.


• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.


• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.75 - $32.19 hourly
