Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation is seeking a Driver (DOT-CDL) to provide essential transportation services for clients to reach facilities and specialty appointments. This role requires a commitment to helping others while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a current California Class B driver’s license, at least two years of driving experience, and preferably experience with geriatric populations.

• A current State of California Class B driver’s license is required.
• Minimum two years of driving experience required.
• Ability to obtain an LA DOT city permit.

This position will also provide coverage for all specialty appointments during the fixed routes downtime. This includes all special assistance needed by all clients requiring transportation services to/from home to PACE Center facilities and specialty appointments. In addition, The Driver (DOT-CDL) is responsible for complying with all DOT regulations.**Minimum Requirements*** A current State of California Class B driver’s license (with P endorsement for multiple passengers) and a clean driving record within the past 3-years is required.* Minimum two years of driving experience required and experience working with geriatric and/or frail elderly populations preferred.* Ability to obtain an LA DOT city permit.* A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.**Compensation**Pay for this job starts at $25.75 hourly**Compensation Disclaimer**Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
